Overview
The NAV1560 Navigation Light Control Panel is able to control and monitor both AC and DC navigation lamps and can be customized to suit marine vessels of any type and size.
The NAV1560 consists of a mimic panel and a main panel. The mimic panel allows the user to monitor lamp status/faults as well as turn the navigation lights on/off. The control panel contains the monitoring modules, fuses and connectors.
Pan Delta Controls Pte Ltd has been building Navigation Light Panels/Controllers for more than 20 years and we have hundreds of panels in service worldwide. Even more impressive is the fact that spare parts for our 1st generation panels are still available today.
Operations
When the user switches on a navigation light using the switches on the mimic panel, power is supplied to the monitoring module and the navigation lamp. The monitoring module (NAV1560-AC/NAV1560-DC) senses the amount of current drawn by the lamp to determine if the bulb filament is intact or blown. If the lamp is functioning properly, the corresponding LED on the mimic panel will illuminate. Otherwise, the corresponding LED will begin flashing and the buzzer will sound to indicate a fault. The user can press the buzzer silence button to acknowledge the fault and mute the buzzer until the next fault is detected. The LED will continue flashing to indicate a fault until the lamp has been replaced or turned off.
