LQ-451: Level Controller

Overview

The LQ-451 monitors the level of conductive liquids and can be configured to perform any one of the following functions:

  • High-Level Alarm
  • Low Level Alarm
  • Pumping In Control
  • Pumping Out Control

Features

  • Mains Isolated Electrode Circuit
  • Safe Electrode Operating Voltage: 25 Volts (max)
  • Relay Output: DPDT
  • Relay Contact Rating: 5A @ 240VAC
  • DIN Rail Mountable

Operation

Pumping In Control / Low-Level Alarm

The relay in the unit is configured to energise and start the pump motor (or provide a low-level alarm signal) when the water level falls below the lower electrode (P2). The relay will remain on, until the water level reaches the upper electrode (P1).

Pumping Out Control / High-Level Alarm

The relay in the unit is configured to energise and start the pump motor (or provide a high-level alarm signal) when the water level reaches the upper electrode (P1). The relay will remain on, until the water level falls below the lower electrode (P2).
